Sir Paul McCartney. Twin Freaks.

Paul McCartney was looking to create some remixes which might serve as an introduction to his forthcoming tour. UKNY Music introduced the brilliantly talented Freelance Hellraiser to create a series of electrifying tracks.

In fact they were so good, that the original idea was expanded to include DJ Freelance Hellraiser joining Paul McCartney for his European tour, opening each performance. The tour culminated in the legendary headline performance at Glastonbury. The response was phenomenal.

The Twin Freaks project was born: the album is intense, thrilling music which, as Paul himself wrote: ‘we hope will rock your little cotton socks off’. The album was released under the UKNY record label as a limited edition etched artwork taken from a painting by Sir Paul, entitled ‘Twin Freaks’. These are, unsurprisingly, highly collectible, and change hands on Ebay for significant sums.

UKNY Music were originally approached purely to oversee the remixes, but the quality of the unique music was such, that we became involved in overseeing the tour, key performances and the extent of the album as it was finally realized. The result is a cult classic which has gained Paul McCartney a new and surprising fan base.
